Just a reminder: It’s time to renew your membership if the date next to your name on this newsletter is October 1, 2009, or earlier. If you see no date there, it means our records show you are not a member.
You can easily join or renew your membership by filling out the registration form in this newsletter and mailing it in, even if you are not able to come to the conference. There is also the option of joining or renewing online at any time. Note: If you join for one year anytime after you receive this newsletter, your membership will be good through October 1, 2010.
As you’ll read in our treasurer’s article, we have to raise the fees to cover the costs of our one-day conferences, beginning in February 2010. The good news is that the membership dues will stay the same for the foreseeable future. Joining OCW will make more sense than ever.
Dues are only $36 a year for those under 62. Just $24 a year for students and those 62 and older. Couples can join for $48 a year and we extend the definition of “couples” to those in a family. For instance, a parent and a child or two siblings can join as a “couple.”
Our membership is now close to 450. Please join us. Or remember to renew your membership if it is about to lapse.
